Clarity Cone™ Technology - Paper and Wood Fibre Cones
Inspired by the DALI KORE technology, SONIK bass and midrange drivers feature Clarity Cone™ paper and wood fibre cones with lightweight rigidity and superior resonance control. The Clarity Cone™ ensures a coherent and natural handover from driver to driver, delivering a more realistic, uncoloured upper midrange and seamless transition to the tweeter.

SMC™ Essential Magnet System
The SONIK CINEMA uses DALI's patented SMC™ magnet material to reduce distortion and improve linearity. A ferrite ring surrounds a hybrid iron-SMC™ pole piece, placing SMC™ directly in the voice coil's working zone. This minimizes hysteresis and eddy currents, delivering cleaner, more detailed and relaxed midrange performance.

Ultra-Lightweight Soft Dome Tweeter
The 29mm soft dome tweeter features an ultra-lightweight diaphragm weighing just 0.060 mg/mm² - less than half the weight of most market tweeters. Combined with an aluminium faceplate, this ultra-light construction allows for optimized performance in a larger bandwidth in the lower frequency area, ensuring smooth, detailed high-frequency reproduction.

Dual Flare Bass Reflex Ports
Inspired by the DALI EPICON series, the bass reflex ports feature a unique convex-tapered design at both ends. This dual flare configuration minimizes turbulence and enables laminar airflow, reducing port noise and delivering tighter, more controlled bass response.

Wide Dispersion Sound Design
The drivers and crossover in SONIK CINEMA are optimized for wide off-axis response, ensuring consistent sound quality throughout the listening area. The speakers are designed to be positioned parallel to the rear wall rather than angled inward, lowering distortion in the main listening area and improving room integration.

Low Resonance Cabinet Construction
The cabinet is constructed from CNC-machined MDF with high-grade laminates, incorporating solid internal bracing and acoustic damping materials applied to the sides, top, and bottom (but not the rear baffle). This construction method effectively suppresses unwanted cabinet resonances, allowing the drivers to perform without coloration.

In-House Developed Terminals
The speaker terminals on DALI SONIK are developed and designed in-house and are not only stunning-looking terminals but will also offer a good and solid connection whether you are using bare wire leads, banana plugs or spades.
