Dynamic, accurate, solid — the audiophile's choice where sound quality and transients free of overhang are paramount. The D215s push-pull subwoofer features ground-up proprietary drivers developed by Perlisten's engineering team. Carbon fiber composite diaphragms, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders, and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire are the key ingredients. Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques optimize all components for real-world driver performance — both free air and in-box — with further refinement via Klippel laser measurements. The push-pull driver configuration reduces even order harmonic distortion by an additional 10–12dB. Powered by a 3.0kW amplifier, all functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data path DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor. All D-Series subwoofers share a 2.4" LCD touchscreen display and the ability to control advanced settings using the Perlisten app. The D-Series subwoofers are the world's first THX Dominus certified subwoofers.

Push-Pull Driver Configuration
The D215s features two ground-up proprietary 380mm drivers developed by Perlisten's engineering team, arranged in a push-pull configuration. Each driver uses a carbon fiber composite diaphragm, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders, and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire. Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques are used to simulate all components and optimize for real-world driver performance — both free air and in-box — with further refinement via Klippel laser measurements. Each driver delivers ±30mm linear excursion. The push-pull arrangement reduces even order harmonic distortion by an additional 10–12dB.

Amplifier, DSP & Control
The D215s is powered by a 3.0kW RMS short term amplifier. All functions and safeties are controlled by a Ti DSP with 48-bit data paths and a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 processor with double precision floating point math, able to react in microseconds. The D215s features a 2.4" LCD color touchscreen display interface and is controllable via the Perlisten app (iOS and Android) with an advanced user interface for customizable turn-on controls, input selection, and multiple parametric EQ presets. A 10-Band PEQ with 3 user presets is included. Low pass filter is configurable from bypass to 30–160Hz with slopes of 6, 12, 18, or 24dB/oct. Phase is variable from 0–270°. Polarity is switchable between normal and inverted. Configurable auto turn-on and 12V trigger is available via XLR 1, XLR 1+2, RCA 1, or RCA 1+2.

The D215s is THX Dominus certified. The D-Series subwoofers are the world's first to achieve this certification.
