Based largely on the R4s and R4b and adapted for in-wall applications, the R4i-LCRS delivers the same DPC-Array technology and timbre matching in the critical frequency response, power response, and phase. A shallow 4" mounting depth and integral aluminum extrusion rear enclosure ensure consistent performance and minimal sound propagation to adjacent rooms. Sharing trickle-down technology from the flagship S-Series, the DPC-Array — here based on three 26mm silk domes — guarantees excellent directivity control and timbre matching with all R-Series speakers. The silk diaphragms were developed ground up, chosen specifically for their smooth, effortless representation of midrange and treble. The 165mm woofer is made from Perlisten's proprietary HPF pulp, two years in development, bringing new technology to one of the oldest materials used in loudspeaker design. All R-Series speakers share the same DPC-Array and benefit from Perlisten's unique timbre matching technique across the entire series.

DPC-Array & Directivity Pattern Control
The R4i-LCRS features Perlisten's proprietary DPC-Array, which controls mid-to-high frequencies using three 26mm silk dome tweeters, ensuring excellent directivity control and timbre matching with all R-Series speakers. The silk diaphragms were developed ground up, chosen specifically for their smooth, effortless representation of midrange and treble. All R-Series speakers share the same DPC-Array and benefit from Perlisten's unique timbre matching technique across the entire series — including timbre matching in the critical frequency response, power response, and phase. The DPC-Array patent is USA patent pending.

HPF Woofer
The R4i-LCRS employs one 165mm woofer made from Perlisten's proprietary HPF (Hybrid Pulp Formulation) — a material combining long fiber hardwood, bamboo, and wool — used for predictable low-frequency performance, making it ideally suited for multi-channel systems.

In-Wall Enclosure & Installation
Based largely on the R4s and R4b and adapted for in-wall applications, the R4i-LCRS features a shallow 4" mounting depth and an integral aluminum extrusion rear enclosure that ensures consistent performance and minimal sound propagation to adjacent rooms. The R4i-LCRS is able to blend seamlessly into any home theater as a stereo pair with a subwoofer, center, or surrounds, making it the most versatile model in the lineup for small, medium, or large home theaters. Dog leg mounting thickness ranges from a minimum of 0.437" (11.0mm) to a maximum of 1.750" (44.4mm).
