MTM Driver Configuration
The 661-SF features a mid-tweeter-mid (MTM) configuration, combining dual 6½-inch cast aluminum basket aluminum cone woofers — available in silver or black-anodized — with a centrally positioned 1-inch fabric dome tweeter with tweeter protection. The two-way crossover is set at 2700 Hz with a 24 dB/Octave slope. This configuration combines the power of multiple drivers for greater dynamic response and directivity, making the 661-SF equally suited as left and right main channels, a center channel, or surround channels in home theater applications.

Vented HDF Cabinet
The 661-SF cabinet is constructed from ¾-inch High Density Fiberboard (HDF) with heavy internal bracing, individually hand assembled and tested in the USA, and is available in satin black or white. The cabinet features dual rear ports. A magnetically attached black or white high quality fabric grille with a ½" MDF frame is included.
