42 mm In-House Transducer & Acoustic Chain
The HDB 630 is built around a custom 42 mm dynamic transducer. Every element of the acoustic chain, from the transducer to the transparent mesh in the baffle, has been optimized to work together. The deep back volume and acoustic mesh contribute to smooth upper mids and lower treble, delivering a neutral tonal balance with lifelike mids and a wide soundstage from a closed-back design.

BTD 700 Bluetooth USB C Dongle
The included BTD 700 Bluetooth 5.4 USB C Dongle upgrades compatible USB C devices — including smartphones, tablets, and laptops — to high-resolution aptX Adaptive wireless capability. With only an estimated 16% of smartphone hardware supporting native wireless high-res sound, the dongle extends this capability to approximately 80% of smartphone models through their USB C port. The BTD 700 also features a low-latency gaming mode activated by pressing the pairing button three times, and supports Auracast broadcasting over LE Audio.

Parametric Equalizer & Crossfeed
The Smart Control Plus app provides a full parametric equalizer that allows adjustment of exact frequency ranges, bandwidth (Q), and filter types — going beyond the fixed bands of a standard graphic equalizer. The crossfeed feature blends the left and right channels to create a speaker-like stereo presentation, particularly suited for older recordings with hard-panned mixes. EQ settings are stored directly in the headphones and remain active regardless of the connected source device.

Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation
The HDB 630 features adaptive ANC using four microphones (two outward-facing, two inward-facing). ANC modes include Adaptive (automatic adjustment based on noise conditions) and configurable Wind Noise Reduction (Off, Auto, Max). The intensity of ANC and Transparency Mode is incrementally adjustable via pinch/stretch gestures on the touch pad or through the Smart Control Plus app. ANC remains functional when using the audio cable or USB connection, provided the battery is charged.

Connectivity & High-Resolution Audio
The HDB 630 supports Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs, and can maintain connections with up to two active Bluetooth devices simultaneously while storing pairing profiles for up to six devices. Wired listening is available via USB C at up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution or through the included 1.20 m analog audio cable with 3.5 mm plug. Frequency response extends from 6 Hz to 40 kHz when using high-resolution connections (USB, Line-In, or aptX Adaptive at 96 kHz) and 6 Hz to 22 kHz otherwise.

Comfort & Battery Life
The HDB 630 features leatherette (synthetic) ear pads, a Japanese leatherette-wrapped headband, and a steplessly adjustable headband slider. The headphones weigh approximately 293 g (311 g without cable per spec sheet) and deliver up to 60 hours of battery life with music playback via Bluetooth and ANC activated. A quick charge function provides approximately 7 hours of playback from 10 minutes of charging, with a full charge completing in approximately 2 hours via USB C. The Smart Pause sensor automatically pauses music when the headphones are removed and resumes when put back on.
