TrueResponse Transducer
At the heart of the IE 200 is the 7 mm extra-wideband (XWB) TrueResponse dynamic transducer, the same driver that powers Sennheiser's IE 300, IE 600, and IE 900. This transducer exhibits virtually no harmonic distortion, reproducing transients with great precision across the entire frequency range. The result is faithful reproduction of what the sound engineer intended — snare drums cut through the mix cleanly, and sibilants are rendered with lifelike presence.

Diffuse-Field Equalization
The IE 200 is tuned with a diffuse-field equalized response that comes exceptionally close to the ideal. Sennheiser's engineers spent considerable effort eliminating the peaks and troughs that can otherwise swallow up or overshadow particular notes — avoiding the "bathtub" sound profile that rises dramatically at the bass and treble ends. The result is an amazingly balanced, neutral tonal presentation that reveals the smallest musical details without masking.

Dual-Tunable Ear Tips
The IE 200 includes dual-tunable ear tips that allow you to adjust the bass response to your taste. Simply mount the ear tips in one of two positions to determine how much low-end energy reaches your ears, providing the option for a neutral response or a slightly enhanced bass presentation. Included ear tip sets come in silicone and memory foam, each in three sizes (S, M, L), to ensure a secure and comfortable fit for any ear size.

Cable & Connectivity
The IE 200 uses a braided oxygen-free copper (OFC) cable reinforced with para-aramid fibers for durability. The cable features MMCX connectors at the earbud end for detachability and a gold-plated 3.5 mm angled stereo jack plug (unbalanced, 3-pin) at the device end. The cable length is 1.2 m (approximately 1.25 m per the quick guide). Adjustable TPU-encased ear hooks provide a secure, customizable fit and optimal cable routing over the ear. Optional balanced cables with 2.5 mm and 4.4 mm connectors are available as accessories.

Comfort & Design
The IE 200 features an all-black minimalist design with compact dimensions engineered to fit any ear, from large to very small. The lightweight earbuds weigh approximately 4 grams each without cable. The adjustable ear hooks and choice of ear tip adapters (silicone and memory foam in S, M, L) ensure exceptional in-ear comfort for extended listening sessions. The earphones provide up to 26 dB of passive noise attenuation. A carry pouch is included for storage and transport.
