Why Our Speaker Pricing May Look Different
Some of you may be curious as to why our pricing for certain products may not look exactly like our competitors' listings for the same product(s). At first glance, it may appear as if we are selling at literally half price—however, this is absolutely not the case. Let's dive a bit deeper here.
Our Commitment to Fair Pricing
Audio Experience is committed to adhering to the mandates of each and every one of our valued brand partners. Part of this means keeping competition based on service, expertise, and likeability as opposed to violating our agreements by offering a lower price. We don't undercut—we provide value through knowledge and customer care.
The Challenge: Inconsistent Industry Packaging
The thing is, not every speaker company sells their speakers in a uniform way. Some sell individual speakers and some sell in pairs only. When you have a combination of products priced and sold in pairs alongside others priced and sold individually, it doesn't give you a true picture of what the spectrum looks like—which makes your shopping experience more complicated than it needs to be.
As an avid shopper myself, one of the main things I enjoy doing when comparing anything is to sort by price. This gives me a clear layout of what goes where in the hierarchy of cost. But when pricing formats are inconsistent, that sorting feature becomes nearly useless.
Our Solution: Standardized Per-Speaker Pricing
In order to help you as our valued prospective and/or current client, we've taken the time to standardize all speakers so that when you sort them by price, you actually get true sorting from most to least expensive (or vice versa).
Here's how it works:
We display all floor standing and stand mount bookshelf speakers at a per-speaker price. This way, when you sort by price, you get an accurate list of what's what.
For speakers boxed and sold in pairs only: We've added a minimum purchase quantity of 2 units to enforce the requirement to purchase the pair, considering they're only available in that format. You'll see "Single (Mono)" as the configuration—this simply describes that each unit represents one speaker, and you're purchasing two of them.
For speakers available as single units: You may select your desired configuration of Mono (single speaker) or Stereo (pair), and then choose the quantity of that configuration before adding it to your cart.
The Bottom Line
This approach ensures you can meaningfully compare products, understand exactly what you're paying, and make informed decisions without confusion. Our pricing is always in full compliance with manufacturer agreements—we've simply organized it in a way that actually helps you shop smarter.
