TV Sound, Upgraded
The HDMI eARC connection brings the CXN100 SE into the heart of your home entertainment setup, enhancing TV audio with high-resolution clarity and effortless integration with your music streaming. The eARC function allows a compatible TV to switch the unit on when needed and control volume from the TV remote.

Pre-Amp Mode
Activate Pre-Amp mode via the StreamMagic app to transform the CXN100 SE into a high-quality digital preamp, expanding your system’s possibilities. With Pre-Amp mode enabled, the volume of the unit’s analogue outputs can be controlled using the app or the rotary dial when connected via the analogue outputs.

Flexible Connectivity
The CXN100 SE features USB audio, S/PDIF coaxial, TOSLINK optical, and Bluetooth, supporting hi-res files up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256 wirelessly and up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512 via wired sources. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs, plus coaxial and optical digital outputs, allow connection to a wide range of equipment, and up to four devices can be connected and played simultaneously as all outputs remain active at all times.

MQA (Master Quality Authenticated)
The CXN100 SE includes MQA technology, enabling playback of MQA audio files and streams to deliver the sound of the original master recording. The front panel displays MQA green or blue to indicate the unit is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file and to denote provenance; MQA blue indicates an MQA Studio file approved in the studio by the artist or producer, or verified by the copyright owner.

Control Bus
The Control Bus allows the CXN100 SE to send and receive power and volume commands with other connected CX Series products via RCA connections, and the StreamMagic app can be used to control connected CX Series units through the CXN100 SE.

Seamless Multi-Room Integration
The CXN100 SE is compatible with Google Home, Apple AirPlay 2, and Roon multiroom systems for synchronised playback across the home. Built-in Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2 and Roon compatibility give the flexibility to build a multi-room system by syncing multiple Cambridge Audio streaming devices, playing the same music or different music room to room.

Intuitive Control
A large high-resolution colour screen, tactile volume dial, and StreamMagic app support make playback, playlist curation, source selection, and tone control easy. The colour display shows album artwork, track details, source, and format information.
