Highlights & Key Technologies
Designed to Absorb
Introducing the HEXAGO CM-A FLAT, these absorption panels represent a groundbreaking fusion of outstanding acoustics and contemporary design. Meticulously crafted by distinguished experts from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow and designers at FORM AT WOOD, these panels boast the highest level of sound absorption (Class A). The HEXAGO CM-A FLAT panel adopts the shape of a regular hexagon, featuring a wooden oak front, in a compact modular hexagonal construction with quick and easy DIY installation. The HEXAGO acoustic panel range won the DESIGN MASTERPRIZE award for its blend of design and acoustic performance.
The Balanced Modular
This is where order meets freedom. A modular hexagonal field you can keep disciplined — or compose into a rhythm that feels unmistakably yours. Under the crafted timber surface sits a tested, certified absorbing core, ideal for open-plan interiors where sound needs to soften without changing the architecture’s character.
Full-Range Class A Absorption
Compliant with EN ISO 11654 standards, HEXAGO CM-A FLAT ensures optimal sound absorption with broadband reverberation reduction and speech transmission enhancement in the full frequency range, making it ideal for a range of applications, including auditoriums, conference rooms, recording studios, listening rooms, or private media spaces.
Modular System Integration
The functional HEXAGO CM-A FLAT version seamlessly combines with the 3D HEXAGO CM-A counterpart, offering a versatile acoustic solution. Furthermore, when paired with other models such as CARO MINUS or CARO, these panels extend the spectrum of design possibilities for a truly comprehensive and customizable acoustic experience, and the construction can also be mixed with HEXAGO CM-D panels and other FORM AT WOOD decorative panels.
Wood Species & Tailored Finish
Available in European oak, American walnut, and ash, sourced exclusively from strictly managed, sustainable forests with every plank traceable to its source. Oak’s rich tannin content grants total mastery over color, with an essential palette of six stains: Snow White (C01), Silky Gray (C02), Black (C03), Natural (C04), Dark Brown (C05), and Nordic Raw (C06). A bespoke finishing service can match a supplied oil specification or physical flooring sample; raw, precision-sanded panels are available for on-site finishing workflows; and a varnishing service offers any shade from the RAL/NCS libraries. Due to the organic nature of timber, natural variations in grain, texture, and color are inherent characteristics and are not considered defects.
