Klipsch Optimize Mode
Klipsch Optimize Mode allows you to easily integrate your Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers seamlessly with your Onkyo AV receiver. Klipsch and Onkyo teamed up to implement the precise crossover values for specific new Reference Premiere speakers. Now, you can simply select the model speakers you’ll be using for each individual channel, and the optimized crossover setting will be automatically applied.

Discrete Zone 3 HDMI Switching
Set up different high-definition entertainment options with up to 8K60 resolution in two different rooms from your Onkyo receiver when the kids don’t feel like partaking in whatever you like or vice versa.

Take the room out of the equation
State-of-the-art Dirac Live Room Correction technology unlocks your loudspeakers' full potential, improving audio performance across the full frequency band without additional upgrades. Dirac Live automatically calibrates sound in your room using either your smartphone and the included wired mic or virtually wireless with the Dirac Live PC or MacOS application and a 3rd party USB mic (not included). Now, you'll get a more accurate measurement of your surround sound system's positioning to be more precise and balanced, providing a better result with the increased upper limit of delay time from 20 to 50 milliseconds.

THX® Certified
THX Certified Select ensures theater-reference sound quality with precise tonal balance and dynamic impact, optimized for rooms with a screen-to-seat distance of approximately 12 feet (3.5 meters). Certified receivers undergo more than 2,000 laboratory tests across 75 performance categories to reproduce movies and music exactly as intended. In 1993, Onkyo became the first consumer electronics brand to be THX-certified. With literally thousands of tests, before earning the THX-certification logo: no matter what input is used, no matter what combination of the many built-in features for the AVR, preamplifier, or amplifier, there can be absolutely nothing added, nothing taken away from the source material. The TX-NR7100 offers four distinct THX listening modes: cinema, gaming, music, and surround EX.

Built-In Streaming Services
Access to Spotify®, TIDAL, Deezer, TuneIn, and Pandora® are built into the system. Use dedicated apps (where available) or the free Onkyo Control App for Apple and Android devices to find and play music.

HDMI 2.1 and 8K Video
HDMI® 2.1 is the most recent update of the HDMI® spec and supports eARC, a range of higher video resolutions and refresh rates including 8K60 and 4K120, and Dynamic HDR formats. 8K delivers a super-immersive viewing experience with 2x the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K, and 4 times as many pixels; and combined with 60Hz refresh rate enables smooth and sharp viewing of content with high-speed action. HDMI 2.1 with 8K and eARC ensures your system is ready for the clearest and cleanest picture available both now and down the road. Features defined in HDMI® 2.1 specification enable 8K/60p video passthrough to your compatible display. As well as HDR10 and HLG, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision™ formats optimize brightness, contrast, and color scene-by-scene or frame-by-frame. All HDMI terminals support HDCP 2.3, while eARC on Main Out passes encoded multichannel audio (including Dolby Atmos® or DTS:X) from your compatible TV’s tuner, video streaming apps, or connected media players to the AVR for amplification. QMS (Quick Media Switching) for movies and video eliminates the delay that can result in a blank screen before content is displayed.

Sonos Certified
This receiver can join your existing Sonos Home Sound System, or be the start of a new one, just by pairing it with a Sonos Port. This works with Sonos Certified AVR offers a best-in-class tie-in to the Sonos ecosystem, waking, changing inputs, and playing at the volume you want using the Sonos Volume-Pass Through feature from the Sonos app. The TX-NR7100 can work with up to three Sonos Ports—one for each of three independent zones—each playing a completely different streaming service from Sonos Radio.

Own your opponents with HDMI 2.1 enhancements for gamers: 4K/120Hz HDR pass-through enables ultra-fast motion - VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) eliminates lag, stutter, and frame-tearing for fluid gameplay. - ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) optimizes latency from source to screen - QFT (Quick Frame Transport) limits lag for a smoother experience.

Bi-Directional Bluetooth
This Onkyo AVR can send and receive audio via Bluetooth wireless technology. Stream from your device to the receiver using SBC or AAC codecs, or transmit audio playing through the AVR to compatible wireless headphones using SBC, aptX™, or aptX HD codecs including 24-bit audio over aptX HD. Connections for Custom Installations
A 12 V trigger output syncs operation with an external component, such as a power amp, while IR input connects an IR repeater. Ethernet supports IP control for home automation and AVR configuration via PC browser. RS-232C control and OSD output are supported. Rack-mount kit is optionally available.

Three-Zone Whole Home Audio
Manage playback in up to three rooms using the Onkyo Controller app. This 9.2-ch AVR has a Zone 2 DAC supporting amplified D/A audio distribution (including HDMI, SPDIF, and NET) via Zone 2 and Zone 3 speaker posts, and supports layouts including 5.2.2-ch Main + Zone 2 or 5.2-ch + Zone 2 + Zone 3.

Vocal Enhancer
Vocal Enhancer solves the problem of inaudible dialog in movies and TV programs by using DSP algorithms to elevate vocal frequencies in the soundtrack. The effect level can be raised or lowered using keys on the remote control and provide clearer dialog at the touch of a button.
