AL-MAC™ High-Frequency Drivers
The AL-MAC™ tweeter is a sophisticated blend of aluminum, magnesium, and ceramic that is lightweight, rigid, and resistant to resonance for detailed, lifelike high frequencies. In the 820F v2 it is a 1″ (25mm) AL-MAC™ Ceramic Dome, ferro-fluid damped and cooled.

AL-MAG™ Midrange Drivers
Crafted from aluminum and magnesium to provide the agility and precision required for natural vocals and instruments, the 820F v2 midrange is a 6″ (152mm) AL-MAG™ cone with a 2″ high-temp multi-layered voice coil on a ventilated Apical™ former.

Carbon-X™ Unibody Bass Drivers
The Carbon-X™ bass drivers are single-piece unibody cones designed for maximum strength and minimal mass, delivering deep and controlled bass even at high volumes. The 820F v2 uses two 7″ (177mm) Ultra-High-Excursion Carbon-X™ Unibody cones with Gen3 Active Ridge Technology (ART™) and a Vertical Mounting System, each with a 1″ high-temp multi-layered voice coil on a ventilated Apical™ former, providing the massive air movement required for visceral, controlled bass and expansive soundstaging.

Patented PPA™ Lens
The Perforated Phase-Aligning lens ensures all frequencies reach your ears simultaneously, significantly improving realism and detail. It acts as a physical shield and an acoustic filter, blocking out-of-phase frequencies, producing a significant leap in the three-dimensionality of the soundstage.

OSW™ Waveguide
The Oblate Spheroid Waveguide precisely shapes output to focus sound on the listening area while reducing unwanted room reflections. By focusing the sound directly on the sweet spot and minimizing ceiling and wall reflections, it delivers a clear, focused image regardless of the room’s acoustics.

Outrigger Shock-Mount Isolation Feet
The Premier v2 floorstanding models utilize adjustable Outrigger Shock-Mount Isolation Feet. This flagship-inspired system decouples the speaker from the floor, effectively controlling vibrations and resonance that can muddy your audio, for a cleaner, more detailed soundstage and tighter bass across any surface. Each floorstander includes both precision-machined spikes for carpets and protective rubber caps for hard surfaces.

Refined Craftsmanship
The cabinet is constructed from MDF and internally braced to be acoustically inert, eliminating cabinet colorations and leaving the drivers free to deliver the performance as the artist intended. Premium painted finishes, authentic real wood veneers, and sleek aluminum and stainless steel trim complete the design.
