A great solution for high-end Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D applications, the R2ic is a simplified 2-way version of the R3ic, featuring an innovative new waveguide array controlling mid and high frequencies, centered by a 28mm silk dome tweeter. Optimized for in-ceiling applications where a 30-degree reference axis is desired as well as a larger listening window in the direction towards the listening space. Extremely versatile — the R2ic can be used as an L, C, R, surround, height, or wide channel speaker, as well as for whole-house music systems. An open back speaker for shallow depth installations where sound isolation is not a design criteria. All transducers were developed ground up by Perlisten's engineers, sharing largely from the R-Series and based on decades of research. Utilizing advanced COMSOL acoustical modeling, this tweeter/waveguide DPC-Array delivers accuracy, smoothness, and directivity control to handle the critical vocal range and delicate treble. The R2ic benefits from Perlisten's unique and proprietary timbre matching technique across the entire R-Series. Grill included.

The R2ic features Perlisten's next generation Directivity Pattern Control, with an innovative new waveguide array (patent pending) centered by a 28mm silk dome tweeter. The reference axis is set at 30 degrees, with a broader listening window of ±30° vertical and ±55° horizontal (per datasheet) / ±30° horizontal (per product page), allowing ideal coverage for most listening spaces. HPF Woofer & Enclosure
The R2ic employs a 165mm aluminum frame woofer with an HPF (Hybrid Pulp Formulation) diaphragm — a material combining long fiber hardwood, bamboo, and wool. The enclosure is a 2-way infinite baffle design, with an optional rear enclosure available. As an open back speaker, it is designed for shallow depth installations where sound isolation is not a design criteria.

Versatility & THX Certification
The R2ic can be used as an L, C, R, surround, height, or wide channel speaker, as well as for whole-house music systems. It is certified THX Ultra.
