The R3ic features an innovative new waveguide array controlling mid and high frequencies, centered by a 28mm soft dome tweeter and 28mm soft dome mid. Optimized for in-ceiling applications where a 30-degree reference axis is desired, as well as a larger listening window in the direction towards the listening space. Extremely versatile — the R3ic can be used as an L, C, R, surround, height, or wide channel speaker. All transducers were developed ground up by Perlisten's engineers, sharing largely from the R-Series and based on decades of research. Utilizing advanced COMSOL acoustical modeling, this tweeter/waveguide DPC-Array delivers accuracy, smoothness, and directivity control to handle the critical vocal range and delicate treble. The R3ic benefits from Perlisten's unique and proprietary timbre matching technique across the entire R-Series. Grill included.

The R3ic features Perlisten's next generation Directivity Pattern Control, featuring an innovative new waveguide array (patent pending) centered by a 28mm soft dome tweeter and 28mm soft dome mid. The reference axis is set at 30 degrees, with a broader listening window of ±30° vertical and ±55° horizontal, allowing ideal coverage for most listening spaces. Utilizing advanced COMSOL acoustical modeling, this tweeter/waveguide DPC-Array delivers accuracy, smoothness, and directivity control to handle the critical vocal range and delicate treble. The R3ic benefits from Perlisten's unique and proprietary timbre matching technique across the entire R-Series.

HPF Woofer & Enclosure
The R3ic employs a 165mm aluminum frame woofer with an HPF (Hybrid Pulp Formulation) diaphragm — a material combining long fiber hardwood, bamboo, and wool. The enclosure is a 3-way acoustic suspension design with a solid 4mm thick aluminum back box for consistent sound with limited sound transmission into other rooms. 12 screws allow removal of the enclosure. A tie down for hanger wire is included.

Versatility & THX Certification
The R3ic can be used as an L, C, R, surround, height, or wide channel speaker, making it the perfect in-ceiling match for any R-Series home theater. It is certified THX Dominus and THX Ultra.
