When connected via a receiver or processor's subwoofer/LFE pre-out, those adjustments can instead be carried out within the electronics' own bass management settings.

Flexible Connectivity & Operation
The BP12 accepts balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, each usable as LFE/Subwoofer or Left/Right line-level connections from an external preamplifier, integrated amplifier, or receiver. A 12V trigger input activates or deactivates the subwoofer from a connected component, and a USB power output supplies power for a wireless subwoofer receiver (not included). A three-way activation switch offers Auto (signal sensing), Trigger (12V), or On (always active) operation, and a three-colour LED indicates standby, active, and Bluetooth pairing states. The BP12 ships with both North American and European power cords, operates on universal voltage (100V–240V, 50/60 Hz), and is Energy Star compliant with 0.5W standby.
