Modular Tower System
This modular tower system combines the Premier 821 speaker with the Reference 1212-M subwoofer to create an incredible reference tower. It offers the perfect blend of elite audio presentation with minimal visual impact. The subwoofer module is purpose built to supplement the dual 8-inch aluminum mid-woofers and reference AMT tweeter in the top module with depth defying, musical bass. The dual 12-inch reference aluminum sub drivers deliver the sonic impact, clarity and low-end extension of a much larger speaker. You will be amazed at this speaker's dominance in both home theater or critical two channel listening.

High Output AMT Tweeter
A 4.72" x 1" (120 x 25mm) Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter in the top module delivers high-output, refined high-frequency reproduction reaching up to 35 kHz.

D'Appolito Top Module Configuration
The Premier 821 top module features dynamic 8" aluminum mid-woofers arranged in a D'Appolito configuration around the AMT tweeter, providing focused vertical dispersion and precise center imaging. The 8" drivers are available in Black or Silver aluminum cones, providing timbre matched options for multi-channel sound across all freestanding, bookshelf, on-wall and in-wall products in the SF, SV or SI-Series.

Active DSP-Controlled Subwoofer Module — Internal or External Amplification
The Reference 1212-M subwoofer module is purpose-built to supplement the top module with dual 12" aluminum cone subwoofer drivers in a sealed enclosure, delivering tight, accurate, and deep bass via high output, 2400W, DSP controlled amplification. Two amplification options are available: an internal configuration with 2 x 2400 Watt preprogrammed DSP amplifiers (one per subwoofer module), or an external configuration using the RBH DA-2602DSP amplifier delivering 2200wpc @ 4Ω for the subwoofer modules. Dual Binding Posts allow midrange and tweeter connection to a choice of external amplification.

Heavily Braced HDF Cabinet & Spiked Outriggers
Constructed of High Density Fiberboard (HDF), the cabinet is finished in Satin Black or Satin White and supported by spiked outriggers for cabinet stability.

Magnetic Grille & Finish Options
A 1/2" MDF magnetic grille is included, available in white or black fabric. The cabinet is finished in Satin Black or Satin White.

Hand Assembled in USA
Individually hand assembled and tested. Cabinet made in USA of High Density Fiberboard (HDF).
