Highlights & Key Technologies

Reference Aluminum Driver
The Reference 12 features a single 12-inch (305 mm) reference aluminum cone long-throw subwoofer driver. The reference driver provides extended frequency response, greater power handling and improved dynamic range. The down-firing port design combined with the reference driver delivers deep, powerful bass down to 26 Hz in a compact, manageable form factor.

Passive Design & Amplifier Compatibility
As a passive (non-powered) subwoofer, the Reference 12 requires an external amplifier. RBH recommends their DA-1202DSP amplifier, which unlocks extended bass response down to 22 Hz and extends the upper range to 150 Hz (±3 dB) with programmed DSP options. Whether you go all out with the DA-1202DSP amplifier or provide your own, the power is in your hands.

Cabinet & Construction
The vented cabinet features a down-firing port, providing a small footprint compared to output. Constructed from High Density Fiberboard (HDF), the cabinet is individually hand assembled and tested at RBH's facility. Available in satin black or satin white paint finish with a matching black or white fabric magnetic grille (3/4" MDF).
