Reference Aluminum Driver
The Reference 12-S features a single 12-inch (305 mm) reference aluminum cone long-throw subwoofer driver. Available in black or silver aluminum finishes, the reference driver provides extended frequency response, greater power handling and improved dynamic range. The sealed cabinet design delivers tight, accurate musical bass down to 28 Hz in a compact form factor.

Sealed Cabinet Design
The Reference 12-S utilizes a sealed cabinet design for tighter, more precise bass response. The sealed enclosure provides accurate, musical bass that is the perfect choice for theaters or two-channel listening enjoyment. The compact form factor makes it easy to place conveniently in any room.

Passive Design & Amplifier Compatibility
As a passive (non-powered) subwoofer, the Reference 12-S requires an external amplifier with a recommended power range of 300-800 watts. RBH recommends their DA-1202DSP chassis amplifier, which unlocks extended bass response down to 24 Hz (±3 dB). The passive Reference 12-S has all of the attitude of the powered Reference 12-S with the added benefit of customizing your experience with the amplifier of your choosing. Whether you go all out with the DA-1202DSP chassis amplifier or your favorite.

Cabinet & Construction
Constructed from High Density Fiberboard (HDF), the cabinet is individually hand assembled and tested at RBH's facility. Available in satin black or satin white paint finish with a matching black or white premium fabric magnetic grille (3/4" MDF). The RBH Reference 12-S sealed subs are the perfect choice for theaters or two-channel listening enjoyment.
