Dive Deeper — Lossless and High Resolution Audio
Experience deep, clear, detailed sound with a lossless codec option, reliable Bluetooth 6.0, and up to 24 bit resolution at 96 kHz. The Hi-Res 24 bit/96 kHz mode offers a full bandwidth of sound via the aptX™ Adaptive Bluetooth codec, with audio data compressed and transmitted at a sampling frequency of 96 kHz and a sampling depth of 24 bits. The Lossless 16 bit/44.1 kHz mode offers maximum sound quality, transmitting audio data uncompressed and bit-accurate in CD quality via the aptX™ Lossless codec. A Robust Connection mode is also available, prioritizing a stable Bluetooth connection and longer battery life by transmitting exclusively via SBC or AAC.

Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio and Dolby Head Tracking

It takes you beyond left and right, placing sound all around you — even overhead — so music, movies, and games feel bigger, clearer, and more immersive. Using object-based audio technology to create a 3D sound field around you, Dolby Atmos assigns each sound element so that voices, instruments, and effects can move naturally around you in any direction, including above and below. Dolby Head Tracking complements this: the earbuds detect and respond to head movements in real time while keeping the sound anchored to a fixed point in front of you, so the audio stays fixed in place rather than moving with you.

Sound Personalization and 8-Band Graphic EQ
No two ears are alike. Which is why, in collaboration with the prestigious Fraunhofer Institute, Sennheiser developed Sound Personalization. This feature uses interactive sound prompts and advanced algorithms to match your tastes precisely. Manual adjustments are easy too with the app's 8-band graphic equalizer, which lets you adjust the gain of each band across bass, mids, and highs. A Sound Check guided audio-tuning process and a Bass boost option are also available, and selected EQ presets are stored in the earbuds so they remain in use even without the app or on a different Bluetooth device.

Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation
Whether it's your commute or local cafe, MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 continuously evaluates conditions and tunes itself to your surroundings. Step onto a loud train, for example, and Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation knows exactly what to do. Noise cancellation intensity is adjusted automatically based on ambient noise in real time, with maximum reduction in a noisy environment and minimum reduction in a quiet one. Low-frequency noise such as the humming of motors or the hissing of fans is particularly well suppressed, and both constant and transient noise are addressed. The newly designed ear tips do their part too, with better sealing and damping of high frequencies.

Adaptive Anti-Wind and Natural Transparency
Not even wind can shake this little pocket of calm: Adaptive Anti-Wind senses gusts and adjusts in real time, minimizing strong wind or movement noise while a small amount of ambient sound remains audible. And when you want the world back, Natural Transparency relays things cleanly — voices sound like voices, streets sound like streets again. Transparency intensity is adjustable with a slider, including during phone calls, and you can choose whether audio playback pauses or mixes with ambient sound when transparency is active.

Upgraded Call Performance
New AI-powered voice isolation combined with a new bone-conducted microphone ensure you're heard clearly, every time. The voice accelerometer picks up vibrations from the wearer's body rather than sound waves; paired with AI-powered processing, 4 microphones per earbud, and beamforming for de-noising, your voice and only yours rings out clear and true, even if others around you are talking. Automatic wind-noise suppression and super wideband telephony are supported.

Made for the Long Haul — User-Replaceable Batteries
Each earbud provides up to 12 hours on a single charge, and up to 40 hours of total playtime with the case. Every battery will some day wear out, so you can replace all the batteries in the MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 earbuds and case yourself, from the comfort of your home — all you need is a screwdriver and the replacement batteries. The compatible Sennheiser batteries are BA 501 (set of 2 earbud batteries) and BA 502 (charging case battery), and a battery replacement tool is included in the box. A Battery protection mode charges the earbuds to approximately 80% to prevent degradation and extend battery life over many charge cycles.

Wider Sound Stage, Smaller Footprint
A re-engineered slim charging case slides easily into and out of your pocket, and includes both wireless and USB-C charging options. A complete charging cycle takes approximately 1.5 hours, and 8 minutes of charging gives approximately 1 hour of playback. The case charges via USB-C or any Qi-compatible wireless charging dock, and its LED display indicates the charge status of both the case and the earbuds.

New Ergonomic Design and Comfort
Sennheiser conducted extensive in-ear scans to design an all-new earbud shape that is preferred for comfort versus the previous generation. It's also great at staying in place when you move. Four silicone ear tip sizes are supplied (XS, S, M, L) so the earbuds fit snugly in the ear canal and fully seal the ears, and a Fit Test function in the app checks the seal. Each earbud can be used independently. An infra-red proximity sensor enables Smart Pause, automatically pausing playback when an earbud is removed.

Bluetooth 6.0 and Multipoint Connectivity
Back home, and want to switch sources? No problem, Bluetooth multipoint connectivity has you covered. The earbuds can save the connection profiles of up to six Bluetooth devices and support two active connections at a time, letting you switch quickly between two devices — for example from music playback on your smartphone to a video call on your PC. Google Fast Pair is supported on Android 6.0 and higher.

Smart Control Plus App
For a truly tailored experience, download the Sennheiser Smart Control Plus App, which makes it easy to customize the sound using the built-in EQ, sound modes, and the Sound Personalization feature.
