Bigger Horn for Better Sound
The new Reference Premiere speakers have a new, larger 90° x 90° silicone composite hybrid Tractrix® horn. This provides a more efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into the listening area. The updated horn also delivers best-in-class high-frequency reproduction and controlled directivity. This, in turn, creates a more accurate soundstage and larger sweet spot in the room for your home theater system. The phase plug and compression molded silicone face ensure smooth frequency response.

Vented Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) Tweeter
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of previous Reference Premiere Series, making it a core component of some of the best speakers in the world. For Series II, Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) 1” tweeters are still a hallmark of Reference Premiere home theater speakers line. LTS Titanium tweeters minimize distortion so you hear more details, right down to the backing vocals of your favorite songs. The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, resulting in enhanced detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction.

Ceremetallic Bass Drivers
A signature feature on the Reference Premiere series speakers, the Cerametallic™ woofers have been updated for absolutely flawless sound reproduction, minimum distortion, and maximum efficiency. Lower distortion is always a good thing. For Reference Premiere speakers, that comes from making a few additions to our Cerametallic woofer design. “Aluminum shorting rings were added to the current woofer designs,” says Product Director Vlad Grodzinskiy. “...the result is lower distortion compared to the previous generation of Reference Premiere speakers.” The updated Cerametallic woofer design also incorporates higher power handling and greater output. What you get is some of the cleanest sound on the planet for your movies, music, and games.

Tractrix Geometry
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere ports allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass.

Enhanced Construction
Using tech from the legendary Klipsch RF-7 III floorstanding speakers, new Reference Premiere speakers feature aluminum feet, strong and flexible removable magnetic grilles, improved audiophile grade aluminum speaker binding post inputs, additional bracing, and divided cabinet volume to add rigidity further reducing vibration and resonance for improved sound clarity.

Bi Amp + Bi Wire Capable
Dual input terminals allow bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities which separate high and low-frequency current into either double the speaker cables or cables with twice the number of conductors. Bi-amping allows for further optimization of performance with separate outboard power amplifiers for the high frequency and low-frequency drivers whereas bi-wiring allows the use of separate conductors (the black and red ends of the speaker cable) to provide a reduction of distortion for a clearer midrange.

Cosmetic Overhaul
One of the truly unique aspects of any Klipsch speaker is how it looks and fits into your home decor. We refer to our Heritage speakers as "heirloom pieces" to be passed down from generation to generation. We want the new Reference Premiere speakers to be a part of your home for years to come as well. “The new speaker designs are aimed at showcasing the elegant, detailed craftsmanship,” says Grodzinskiy. The cosmetic updates include a curve extending to the bottom of the cabinets that runs parallel to the horn. A subtle curve on the grille frame inverts the angle, a contrast from the first generation of Reference Premiere speakers. This creates a slimming effect on the floorstanding speakers and an improved angle for the center channel speakers.

Built For Optional Elevation Speaker
Upgrading RP-6000F II to enable immersive Dolby Atmos sound is possible with the addition of the RP-500SA speakers (sold seperately). Installtion is incredibly easy with simple, hidden connections on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce wire visibility while holding them in place for better wire management. (jumper wires included in the box)

Klipsch American Sound

Tower Speakers = Powerful Sound
Floorstanding speakers provide deeper bass than smaller speakers, giving you the ability to enjoy a wider range of music even before you add a subwoofer. There’s no better place to start, regardless of whether you’re only looking for great stereo music or are on your way to building a surround system. Klipsch floorstanding speakers provide soaring highs and rich lows while complementing your home décor. Serious audiophiles will appreciate the power and audio fidelity provided by our high-quality, full-range audio speakers.
