Modular Tower Speaker
The modular SFTR tower system brings flagship technologies in a more compact package aimed at music lovers, but is no slouch with home theater duties. The MTM driver array and dual 12″ sealed subwoofer pedestals offer a complete experience. This modular tower system combines the 821-SF/R top speaker module with the 1212-MS/R subwoofer module to create an incredible reference tower with minimal footprint, offering the ultimate blend of dynamics and musicality within a small footprint.

High Output AMT Tweeter
A 4.72″ x 1″ (120 x 25mm) high dynamic Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter delivers high-output, refined high-frequency reproduction reaching up to 35 kHz.

Classic MTM Array
The top module features dynamic 8″ aluminum mid-woofers in a symmetrical MTM (midrange-tweeter-midrange) array around the AMT tweeter for improved imaging and reduced vertical reflections. The 8″ drivers are available in Black or Silver aluminum cones, providing timbre matched options for multi-channel sound across all freestanding, bookshelf, on-wall and in-wall products in the SF, SV or SI-Series.

Powerful Musical Bass
Dual 12″ aluminum cone subwoofer drivers in a sealed enclosure deliver tight and musical bass with deep extension, providing the sonic impact, clarity and low-end extension of a much larger speaker.

Active DSP-Controlled Subwoofer Module — Internal or External Amplification
The subwoofer module is purpose-built to supplement the top module with dual 12" aluminum cone subwoofer drivers in a sealed enclosure, delivering tight, accurate, and deep bass via high output, 2400W, DSP controlled amplification. Two amplification options are available: an internal configuration with 2 x 2400 Watt preprogrammed DSP amplifiers (one per tower), or an external configuration using the included RBH DA-2602DSP amplifier for the subwoofer modules. Dual binding posts allow midrange and tweeter connection to a choice of external amplification.

UNRIVALED Passive Crossover (/PX)
While designing the UNRIVALED crossover, two main goals were at the heart of the project: to maintain and preserve the original and desired tone curve of RBH speakers, and to improve the signal integrity without coloring the sound. These crossovers are hand built with hand selected components onto a specially designed PCB board with triple the thickness of copper lining the board, providing the best compromise of preserving the signal integrity that is achieved with a point to point design and the cleanliness of a PCB board. The well renowned Mundorf Supreme Silver Gold & Oil bypass capacitor is used in the tweeter circuit, which increases the depth of the soundstage and sharpens the imaging. The sonic differences between UNRIVALED and Reference are as follows: clarity improves, soundstage increases in both breadth and depth, imaging is improved, and transient response is faster, all without sacrificing the tried and true RBH Sound sonic signature.

Damping Materials
Wool is an excellent acoustic absorber, with a greater density and absorptive ability over polyfill, and is the material of choice for any sealed enclosures or chambers. For ported enclosures, cabinets are lined with high quality 1 inch foam, which is a terrific absorber and ensures nothing is projected out of the ports.

Cabinet Anti-Resonance Lining
Each UNRIVALED speaker cabinet is internally lined with an anti-resonance material. This material is made from rubber and aluminum and is adhered to the internal walls of the speaker, effectively adding to the absorption of unwanted vibrations.

Internally Wired with Kimber Kable
As part of the no compromise that RBH pledges with UNRIVALED systems, RBH utilizes Kimber wire with their tried and true braided geometry, which further improves crosstalk rejection and external influences.

Acrylic Polymer Damping Panels
To further the performance of the speaker, as well as cosmetics, side panels made from acrylic polymer solid surface, which has a density similar to granite, can drastically improve the rigidity of the speaker, which substantially reduces cabinet resonance, providing several benefits including reducing smearing, improved imaging, improved soundstage, tightened response, and improved clarity.

G.A.D.S. (Patent Pending)
On select, sealed only, speaker systems, RBH’s G.A.D.S. (granular acoustic damping system) technology is employed. Not only does it have mass loading effects, which can further improve the rigidity of the cabinet, it is also an excellent acoustic absorber. The marvel of this technology is that while the granular particulates may occupy a significant amount of space in the enclosure, the impact on the total volume is negligibly affected, therefore the tuning of the box is near unaffected.

Heavily Braced HDF Cabinet & Spiked Outriggers
Constructed of High Density Fiberboard (HDF) with acrylic polymer side panels, the cabinet is finished in Satin Black or Satin White and supported by spiked outriggers for cabinet stability.

Magnetic Grille & Finish Options
A magnetic grille is included, available in white or black fabric. The cabinet is finished in Satin Black or Satin White.
